Hi there, I’m probably one of many silent readers of your blog. I enjoy your commentary and insights on art and reading. I’m also Hungarian, but born in the U.S. I moved to Budapest to attend medical school and I feel more at home here. It is a treat to see your stories recounting your rich Hungarian childhood. Thank you for redeeming my email inbox.
Thank you. I begin to see that my somewhat odd Hungarian-ness is a central part of my being. If things aren’t going well for me as an American, I hide in my Hungarian self.
